We now have a permit to build the house we just bought. What a relief! Not that there was ever any real need to worry, but I did anyway. Things are on track.
We bought a generator from Amazon, hydronic radiant floor supplies from SupplyHouse.com, miscellaneous from Harbor Freight, Home Depot and Costco. We are going to use our big old air compressor instead of buying another smaller portable one.
We need 2400 linear feet of pine tongue & groove paneling for the ceiling. I have a bid that seems rather expensive. Do any of you have suggestions for sourcing wood paneling? We want natural color pine.
The guy doing our excavation, cistern, septic and foundation work is really busy. He’s pretty much the only show in town and does really great work. His house is amazing. Now we wait for him to get started on the dirt work.
Note to self: enjoy the process, don’t stress.
Wow…things are moving along! Construction can be so exciting but it can also test your patience…as you said, enjoy the process! Love, Diane
